Concordia University’s School of Pharmacy Building wins architectural award

This morning, Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) announces that its School of Pharmacy Building received the Architectural Portfolio Award for outstanding design in the post-secondary category from American School & University magazine.

The news arrived in the November issue of the publication.

In the piece, Dr. Dean Arneson, dean of Concordia University Wisconsin, notes the building surpasses the expectations as an educational environment and fulfills all of the teaching needs now and into the foreseeable future. The building features state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories for conducting research and instructing students, and a museum displaying the full historical range of pharmacy practice and research.

Designed by Mayer Helminiak Architects, the School of Pharmacy Building officially opened in the fall of 2011 with a price tag of about $10 million.
