MPS student gets a gig at the Grammys

Milwaukee High School of the Arts student Felix Ramsey has been invited to attend and perform at the Grammy Awards and official celebration.

Ramsey, 17, is one of only eight student singers from across the country selected for this honor.

His participation is part of the week-long “Grammy Camp – Jazz Session,” which also offers him the opportunity to record at Capitol Studios and Mastering in Hollywood with the seven other singers and 30 other high school musicians, as well as eligibility for over $2 million in college scholarships through the Grammy Foundation.

The 2012 Grammy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 12.
