Mayfair Mall celebrates schools this weekend

Mayfair Mall will host a pep rally and showcase for area schools to help raise funds and awareness for their K-12 programs Oct. 13 and 14.

Celebrate Schools! will feature art and education displays, student musical and dance performances and giveaways in the mall’s Center Court and Food Court 11 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.

The mall will also highlight DonorsChoose.org, a website that allows individuals to contribute to specific needs in classrooms.

In addition to representatives and students from the schools, the event will also include appearances from the Milwaukee Bucks’ Energee dancers and mascot Bango; Milwaukee Wave players and their mascot, Brad Beach; and additional entertainment from the United Performing Arts Fund and West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Department.
