“Innovation in Education” showcases teachers, students making difference

Educators Credit Union, My24 and CW18 will team up for “Innovation in Education,” an initiative focused on showcasing teachers and students throughout Southeastern Wisconsin schools making a difference in their classrooms and communities. 

The initiative comes with three components: “Teachers Are Tops,” which honors individual teachers; “Students Who Shine,” which honors individual students; and “The Power of Positivity,” which honors positive stories within schools. 

Each month, CW18 and My24 will air 30-second vignettes dedicated to the selected nominees. All selected recipients will receive a commemorative plaque and be honored at an award ceremony. Selected teachers will also receive a gift card to The Learning Shop for school supplies.

To nominate a student or teacher for “Innovation in Education” recognition, submit a brief explanation why they deserve to be nominated as a top student or teacher to either CW18’s website or My24’s website.
