MPS senior brings original music to MAM
Ronald Reagan College Preparatory High School senior Derrick Hahn and the Reagan Concert Band will perform Hahn’s “A New Rising Dawn” Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Hahn wrote the original work especially for the museum with inspiration from the Burke Brise Soleil. He and the band will perform the work together after an opening piece by the band and a solo from Hahn.
The 7 p.m. performance, which will take place in Windhover Hall, is free and open to the public as part of the museum’s Target Free First Thursday programming.
